BURSCOUGH F.C 2
DATABASE FC 1

Dave Lye (1)

A promising start was thrown away by Database as missed opportunities and poor passing allowed Burscough back into a game which for 20 minutes they was not in.

Database took the lead early in the 2nd half, a Ben Fitzpatrick blocked shot fell to Dave Lye who slotted home from 10 yards even though their was a hint of offside.

Burscough hit back shortly afterwards after a goal mouth scuffle ended up with a tap into an open goal.
Shortly afterwards a shot from 18 yards left Jimmy Furlong with no chance as it found it's way into the bottom corner.

At this point a tired looking Database failed to put the pressure on Burscough with only a couple of late corners posing any sort of threat. Kev Cross did have a half chance right at the end which was blazed wide
